Shima Serving Board

This piece is made entirely by hand, using responsibly and locally sourced sheesham or Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia sissoo) which is seasoned over a period of time using traditional methods. The piece is then hand cut by the artisans. The wood used for the boards is carefully selected so that the grains of wood maybe seen in their entirety. The raw piece is then sanded and polished using an edible linseed oil before it is left to dry naturally. Each piece is worked on over a period of days.

Use the Shima Board to serve cheese or create a delicious mezze platter for an evening of cocktails and laughter.
