Pestello Mortar Pestle

This summer our Rangoon Creeper (Combretum indicum) went into full bloom. We could spend hours wrapped in its velvet fragrance. As we contemplated the petals Pestello was born. 

Handcrafted from Sheesham wood, the mortar pestle is small enough to hold in your hand as you pound spices and herbs. We often use this to create a tea mix - dried hibiscus and rose petals, mint and a dash of star anise (try it, its delicious!)
