When we moved to a house in rural Goa in July 2018, we expected to be living amongst a variety of wild animals and birds. In the months ahead, we grew used to the tree snakes in the garden, the Leaf birds on the Singapore Cherry every morning and the monitor lizard in the well. What we never grew tired of however, were the peacocks on the property every monsoon, searching for food and getting ready for the mating season.
